Born in 1991 in the Eastern part of the country, Nigeria Keniwest's music career started when he was young. His career began when he and his friends came together.

Keniwest says ''Some of them dropped but I continued, I have deep feelings music will take me far and wide''.
 

Keniwest fell in love with reggae tones, dance hall, and hip hop and he followed that part.
